My Story

If you’re curious about who I am, how I stumbled into guitar making, or why I do what I do… you’ve come to the right place.

  • The human experience is so complicated. Life is hard, there’s a lot of suffering. It’s also beautifully filled with endless magic. Both exist at the same time.

Humans have big thoughts, big feelings, big experiences. We have passions, excitements, obsessions… we build, we create, we love and we play.

We also have different beliefs and values from those we love most. We say things we don’t mean. We experience loss and grief. We change and evolve. Our inner and outer worlds shift constantly.

There’s a lot that goes on. And I don’t think we give ourselves enough credit for what we endure in our lifetime. Emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually… individually and as a collective.

Processing these challenges and chapters in our lives can be an obstacle in itself.

This is where art comes in.

You can dig and poke around in the deepest darkest parts of yourself and let it come out (how it wants to, and how it NEEDS to).

And I’m not just talking about a paintbrush and canvas. I’m talking about all of it - music, dance, woodworking, writing, pottery, gardening, cooking, cleaning, driving, eating, sex, how you interact with your neighbours and how you walk through the world with the clothes on your back.

It’s your way of existing. In every moment you are expressing yourself. In every moment you are making art.

    What are you making?

Which outlets are you intentional about? Which ones do you pay no attention to? Which ones are you inspired by and want to explore more?

I make art so others can make art.

    Welcome to my workshop.
